This day has been planned to help you unplug and detox from your busy routine and to “create space for God.” You are invited to leave your daily distractions at the door and embrace a sacred place of solitude and silence and encounter the presence of the Holy.

You can choose to focus on your relationship with the Holy by walking the labyrinth, hiking trails, creating art, and meditation and reflection. Healthy food, rest and leisurely walks also create a backdrop which often draws us towards God. These personal spiritual practices along with the invitation to meet with spiritual director, Lori Tate, provide opportunities for you to “hear” God’s voice and deepen your communion with the Holy One.

The Day:
8:30 -9:00      Gathering/coffee
9 – 10:00         Community – teaching
10 – noon         Solo time – art, hiking, labyrinth, mediation
12 – 12:45         Lunch
12:45-2:45       Solo time continued
2:45 – 3:00      Breaking bread
3 – 4:00           Community – group direction
